Bunksound

This project is in partnership with the research team of Université de Haute Alsace and T-med.

Overview

Bunksound is an application designed to display multiple representations of breathing. Its goal is to help doctors more easily detect lung diseases through these visualizations. The application is divided into two parts:

  • The signal processing part, handled by the researchers from the university.
  • The interface part, which displays these signals in various graphical forms, managed by myself.

The application is built using python.

My Contribution

Interface Improvement

Complete redesign of the interface, adding PyQt5 to optimize the graphical display. Additional features include displaying a spectrogram and the total recording time.

Play, Pause, Stop Buttons

Added Play, Pause, and Stop buttons to make the listening experience more comfortable.

Timestamp Feature

Added the ability to mark key moments with a timestamp, allowing users to save important times and easily return to them later.

CSV Export

Added the ability to export important timestamps to a CSV file.
